Greg's Rules

Please keep in mind that these rules may be borrowed from other places but I believe they improves one's life.

Think before you speak

Once a word has been spoken it can not be taken back. Thinking before you speak sometimes is something everyone should practice.

Positive Affirmations

Sometimes we all need a little positivity in our lives. So why not have it come from us. Every morning try telling yourself the following things aloud in the mirror

  • Today is a Beautiful Day
  • I Will Work Hard!
  • I Am Important!
  • I Will Succeed!

Handshakes

People may think that they don't need to work on handshakes. This is usually the first thing you do when you meet someone, even before you talk to them at any great length. A firm handshake is an important tool to show that you are confident. Eye contact is also a big part of a handshake but I will talk about that a little bit later.

Remember To Breath

Sometimes when things seem to be getting tough it is a good idea to take a step back and breath. This gives you a moment to not over react to something. I have always like the saying “Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things”.  So when the things get rough it is usually a good idea to take that exrta time and think about how you react to something. Will getting angry and showing it accomplish anything?

Cream Rises To The Top

They say that cream rises to the top. This is the same in life. Be that cream that rises to the top.

When People Are Rude

When people are rude, they reveal their true nature. It is not always because of something you did or said but how they are deep down.  Try not taking it personal. Cutting ties with them is sometimes the best move.

You Are Who You Hang Around With

I am sure you have heard the saying “Guilty by association”, well people will always be looking at the company you keep. If you have around with thieves or criminals, than you most likely will be considered one. No matter how much you live your life by not judging a book by its cover, you can't except other people to have the same respect.
